My interest in Vilma began the first time I ever saw her, that is, in The Eagle in 1999. Most people were likely taken with Valentino, but Vilma stood out as an actress of unparalled beauty and skill [biased I know!]. The more I researched, the more I realized that she was a brilliant actress in her own right. Most people today, however, while they remember her for her work in The Son of the Sheik and The Eagle due to their easy accessibility, would be just as awed if they took the time to track down her other available films. (If you're interested, I CAN point you in the right direction, as I've seen the two mentioned above, AND The Winning of Barbara Worth, A Lady to Love, and The Rebel. -- The Night of Love is hopefully next on the list!)
Mostly everything that you see on this website is from my collection or items that people have shared with me. The biography, however, is my own words, stemming from hours and hours of research on my part. I would appreciate it if used in other publications or documents, a source of me as author. Additionally, I can provide sources on anything you need.
